Levi Update

Levi is getting bigger and doing new things. He continues to love to crawl and is so close to walking and talking. We're not sure which one he will do first. He loves to play with his toys and his friends. He has a big voice and loves to be heard. He has so many stories to share with anyone who will listen. Levi keeps everyone in stitches.

Levi has started eating table food and drinking milk. He has a big appetite. I think he is going to eat out of house and home sooner than we think.

Levi loves to play peek-a-boo. When he is in the bath tub he plays peek-a-boo using a clear shower curtain. He finds it very funny though he can see us the whole time.

Party Time!

Today was Levi's 1st birthday part. He had a great time with all of his friends and family. Here are a few pictures but more are at littlemanlevi.shutterfly.com. Enjoy!

Feed Me!

Levi thinks he doesn't need baby food anymore, in fact he much prefers adult food. This weekend we tried avocados, strawberries and his aunts and uncles at church gave him a chicken bone. We are grateful that he isn't a picky eater, at least not yet. Hopefully he won't do a 180 and become a picky eater. He will watch us eat and just sit there with his mouth open. We have to be careful that we don't eat in front of him too often, otherwise he gets mad. We will have to see what new food he will get to try next.

This past weekend Levi's Grandma and Grandpa Robertson came for a visit. It was so nice to have them over. He was even able to do a new trick for them. We were sitting on the floor on Saturday night and Levi was laying down, next thing I knew, he was sitting up. He was able to get in a seated position all by himself!! It is only a matter of time before he starts crawling. We are hoping that he will be crawling by the time we go to West Virgina. I am sure that everyone would be excited to see him crawling.
Only 5 more months until he is a year. It is amazing all he has learned to do so far, in these seven short months!! I can't wait to see what else he will be doing soon. We will keep you posted.

On a Roll...

I am not sure who is reading this anymore, but here goes...

Levi is 6 months old...people can't believe that, they think he is older because he is big, not fat big, just long and filled out. I look at baby pictures when he was a new born, and he was so thin, not anymore!!!

His favorite mode of transportation right now is rolling around the house. We have to keep an eye on him because once he starts rolling, there is no telling where he will go.
He is such a happy little man, he is always smiling at everyone we meet! We are waiting for his first teeth to come in, there is a lot of drool and chewing, so we are hoping it is anytime.

One of our favorite things is church...Levi wants to sing and preach with everyone else. He is hardly ever quiet in church anymore. It is a good thing that the pastor loves him! He is also very fond of being outside...I think this summer will be interesting, trying to get him to come back inside.

He is getting very excited about his next big car trip, going to see Great Grandma Robertson, in West Virginia, with a stop in Cleveland to get Grandpa and Grandma Robertson. The last time we were at Grandpa and Grandma Robertson it snowed, and snowed and snowed. We had so much fun playing out side. Hopefully it won't snow this time...it better not, it will be Memorial weekend.

Just Chillin'

Just chillin' is right, winter can be over already. It is hard to sit in all day. I remeber Christmas with my mom's family and Levi was sitting on his great-grandfather's lap and I go up to Levi and say, "Are you chillin' with great-grandpa?" My grand father answered, "Well, I am not cold if that is what you mean." ahh...generational differences!!!
how many more days until spring?!

Kisses

Yesterday Levi started to give kisses, with a little help! He has developed quite the personaility. He is a very happy baby, except when he is sick, which is now again. He is fighting a cold but he is being a trooper. He hates his nose sucked out, I don't blame him but otherwise he is his happy self!

He is just about ready to roll from his back to his belly, he just has to get his hips to move with him. I love to sit and play with him. He has grown so much in 4 months. He has a grip on him that you don't want to be on the otherside of. He has gotten me a few times and he won't let go.

I think both Levi and I are ready for the weather to get warmer so we can go out and get some fresh air. He isn't too happy getting all bundled up. He reminds me of the little brother in The Christmas Story

He is becoming quite the little man, everyday is a new adventure that we share together. I can't wait to experience more of it.

I am still looking for a job, so if you know of anything that is open, please let me know!

2 months old

I can't believe Levi is 2 months old. There are days I feel like it has been longer than that and then there are days I think, "I can't believe it has been two months." He is getting so big, not just phyiscally, but his personality is big as well! He keeps us laughing. Levi is turning into quite the little man, he continues to try and talk, he does get some sounds out but I know that he wants more to come out.
Besides battling a cold right now, he is a great little guy. I am hoping that this cold goes away before Monday, he is scheduled to get his shots, but if he isn't feeling well, I don't want to add that to his poor little body.
We will keep you updated!!

The mystery is solved...

Since Levi was born, people have asked who he looks like. There are some that immediately says he looks like Chris. I honestly could not tell who he looked like, until this weekend! Chris' mom brought some baby pictures and it is now comfirmed, he is Chris' twin. Levi doesn't have the baby fat that Chris had, infact, Levi has yet to reach either Chris' or my birth weight.
Levi made it through his first Thanksgiving, with all the handling quite well. In fact, he was so jealous that he was not partaking in the feast, he slept through it. He was so excited to see Grandpa and Grandma Robertson, Aunt Mel and Great Aunt Mary. He was his usual entertaining self for them!
Now we are preparing for Christmas...
