Life, Love and other Mysteries

Because Chris has been slacking in the posting department, I have taken over! Here goes!!

Life: We are getting very excited to add those two additional feet to our home in October. Next week Thursday we hope to find out if it will be boy's feet or girl's feet. I have been feeling great so far, which I am grateful for.
I was talking to Chris the other day about the way that God has been providing for us. We are excited to see God work through all of this.

Love: Chris has been so awesome through this pregnancy. He has picked up my slack in housekeeping and other chores. I couldn't ask for a better man.

Other Mysteries: Last night, as we were watching American Idol I saw something flying. I turned on the light and it was a BAT. I screamed, of course. After Chris and I got over our initial shock we came up with a game plan. He went looking for it upstairs with a broom and I waited downstairs with a shovel to show it to the door. Well, a broken ceiling fan later, we killed the bat and disposed of it. Chris kept swinging at it with the broom upstairs and I saw this brown thing fall to the bottom of the steps so I smashed it with the shovel until it was dead. It was the funniest thing. I kind of wish it would have been recorded for the next time I need a good laugh.
The mystery part of this is, where did the bat come from. There is one theory that it flew in when we got our new windows last September. I pray that is not the case. So, when I get home from work I am going to check all of our overhangs and vents to make sure it can't get in that way.

One thing for sure, life at our house is never boring and with these two extra feet coming, I am sure there will be even more interesting stories!
